Patents Search

Search global patents records, grant filings, and registration documents.

The patents search endpoint queries global patent databases (USPTO, EPO, WIPO) for registered utility models, inventions, and grant descriptions.

It returns patent publication numbers, listed inventors, corporate assignees, filing and grant dates, and abstract summaries.

Returned Patent Properties

Each item in the patents response array contains structured legal and technical patent metadata:

  • title: Inventions title or patent grant header
  • patentNumber: Standardized patent publication code (e.g. "US10000000B2")
  • link: URL to view the complete patent document
  • snippet: Technical abstract describing the patented invention
  • inventors: Names of registered individual inventors
  • assignee: Corporate or institutional patent owner
  • filingDate: Official patent application filing date
  • grantDate: Patent registration issue/grant date
  • position: Search rank position (1-based)
